Scott Marcelle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in veteran employment and human resources. Currently serving as a Local Veterans Employment Specialist at LA Works and as an (IPA) REALifelines Coordinator for the DOL/VETS Veteransā€™ Employment & Training Service since August 2010, Scott oversees operations for the eight Southeastern states in the Atlanta region, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to national offices. Prior roles include working as a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program (DVOP) specialist, where Scott provided intensive services to veterans and facilitated job referrals, and as a Claims Specialist, processing various unemployment claims. Scott's military background includes serving as a Human Resources Information Systems Management Specialist in the U.S. Army from January 2006 to May 2009, where responsibilities included personnel management and support for units ranging from 300 to 2,500 personnel. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism from Northwestern State University.
