Nad Sivaramen is an experienced journalist and educator with a diverse background in media and communications. Currently serving as Journalist and Director of Publications at La Sentinelle since April 2013, Nad also contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Journalism at the Open University of Mauritius from July 2013 to April 2016. Previous roles include Writer and Senior Academic Associate at the Africa Center for Strategic Studies, where analytical insights on human security and development in Africa were provided, and Communications Specialist and Media Analyst at The Rendon Group, focusing on strategic communications for various clients. Early career highlights include serving as Editor in Chief at La Sentinelle Ltd and Media Consultant at L'Express de Madagascar, where significant contributions to editorial management and journalist training were made. Nad holds a Master's degree in Communication with a specialization in Journalism from the University of Reunion and has further education from the National Defense University.
