Nasir Emami is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in environmental and process engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Civil Engineer at LA Sanitation & Environment since November 2022, Nasir previously held the position of Environmental Engineer at the City of Los Angeles from December 2004 to December 2022 and worked as a Process Engineer at CH2M from July 2001 to December 2004. Nasir holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil & Environmental Engineering from UC Irvine (2010-2016), a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from California State University Long Beach (2003-2005), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from Sistan and Baluchistan University (1991-1995).
