Gabriel Derrien is an experienced Android developer currently working at La Presse since July 2023. Prior to this, Gabriel contributed to Sherpa from August 2021 to July 2023, focusing on the development and modernization of white-label Android app solutions as well as modularizing an outdated codebase. At Desjardins from November 2019 to July 2021, Gabriel developed and improved Android mobile applications, implementing the company's design system. An earlier internship at IFSTTAR involved enhancing the Miranda App through sensor data integration and architecture development. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Video Game Conception from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and additional degrees in software engineering and electrical engineering from IUT de Nantes and IUT Cherbourg Manche, respectively.
