Jose Rama Caamaño currently serves as the Subdirector de PolÃticas Sociales at La Moncloa since February 2022, while also advising at the Oficina Nacional de Prospectiva y Estrategia de PaÃs. Previously, Caamaño held lecturer positions at several esteemed institutions, including Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, King's College London, and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Notably, at King's College London, Caamaño convened the module 'Democracy and Populism in Southern Europe and Latin America.' Academic experiences include a postdoctoral role at UNED focusing on populism and secessionism and a visiting research fellowship at the University of Nottingham.
