Larry Mowles has served as Mayor and City Councilman for the City of La Mirada since March 2011. Prior to their political career, Larry Mowles held the position of Director of Insurance Education at AIS | Auto Insurance Specialists from May 1991 to March 2014. Larry Mowles also gained management experience as a Store Manager at Thrifty Drug Stores from August 1968 to May 1979. Educationally, Larry Mowles attended David Starr Jordan High School in Long Beach from 1960 to 1963.
