Ameen Ahmad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transportation planning, project management, and technology consulting. Currently serving as Manager of Transportation Planning at La Metro since August 2022, Ameen oversees the Information & Workflow Management System and GIS Analytics solution while managing departmental budgeting for public transportation construction projects. Previous roles include coordinating Right of Way acquisition at Caltrans, founding Valhalla Home Loans, and serving as President at A2Insights, where technology consulting services were provided. Ameen also co-founded ripFone, and held leadership positions in product marketing at SnapTell, Neven Vision, and InnoPath Software. Ameen began a career at Intel Corporation and Lucent Technologies, focusing on wireless solutions and ecosystem development. Educational credentials include an MBA in Marketing & Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an MA in Economics from Rice University.
