Rebekka Henriksen is an experienced educational professional specializing in agriculture-based programs and mindfulness instruction. Currently serving as the Farm to School Project Manager at Schenectady City School District since November 2020, Rebekka oversees the implementation of school gardens, integrates sustainable practices, and coordinates curriculum aligned with Common Core standards while managing volunteering and funding efforts. Previous roles include Farm to School Coordinator within the same district and Garden Manager and Educator at Zoller School, where Rebekka developed garden-based curricula. Additional experience includes leadership roles at La Leche League International and Waking Mindfulness, alongside teaching mindfulness at the Shambhala Meditation Center of Albany. Rebekka holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Smith College and an Associate of Science in Life Science from SUNY Schenectady County Community College.
