Lara Southern is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in editorial and creative roles, currently serving as the Executive Editor at La DoubleJ since August 2021. Previously, Lara worked as a Freelance Writer for MUSÉE MAGAZINE and held the position of Creative Director at Cook Space, a culinary studio in Brooklyn that emphasizes building confidence in the kitchen. Lara's background includes roles as Brand Manager for ILĀ, Director of Events and Studio at Sunday Suppers, and contributing writer for several publications, including Ambrosia Magazine and Roads & Kingdoms. A graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultures and Literatures in English, Lara also participated in a summer creative writing workshop at NYU in Paris.
