Joanna Alejandro, PMP, has extensive experience in managing and coordinating various health and education programs. Currently serving as the Gender and Health Program Manager at La Clinica del Pueblo, Joanna provides navigation services to clients and implements evidence-based interventions for LGBTQ individuals. Prior to this, Joanna worked with the Peace Corps as a Regional Volunteer Leader and Community Health Educator in Nicaragua. Additionally, Joanna has also conducted field research and served as a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia, focusing on substance abuse treatment and addictive behavior. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Public Health, and Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia.
