John McGee is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) systems field. Currently serving as an Engineering Fellow at L3Harris Technologies since April 2022, John previously held senior roles at Raytheon from March 2014 to April 2022, including Associate Director and Chief Engineer, where responsibilities included developing next-generation EO/IR system suites for advanced platforms. Prior experience includes positions at Northrop Grumman Information Systems as a Senior Manager, focusing on hyperspectral systems, and at various Raytheon divisions overseeing significant technical efforts. John also has a background in program management at Loral Fairchild and as a Senior Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electro-Optical Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
