Jeffery Orndorff has over 30 years of professional experience in the IT field. Jeffery began their career in 1986 as a Network and Communications Manager for O'Sullivan Corporation, where they managed an Ethernet based TCP/IP network and served as a system analyst and administrator for multiple NT 4.0 and UNIX servers. From 2000 to 2008, Jeffery worked as a Certification & Accreditation Analyst, Performance Analyst, and Network Engineer for Unisys Corporation, where they performed security test and evaluation (ST&E) for USCG systems, promoted compliance with federal regulations FISMA and OMB A-130, applied and interpreted NIST 800-53 controls and well as DHS 4300 directives, and performed application performance troubleshooting and analysis for the U.S. Coast Guard. From 2008 to 2014, Jeffery worked for Dell Services Federal Government, Inc. as a Senior Systems Administrator – COSS and Senior Systems Administrator – MAGNET, where they designed and implemented standardized Red Hat hardened operating system installation scripts for DOD security enclave at USCG, utilized Blade Logic Server Automation tool for system administration tasks, and wrote net shell, bash, and Perl scripts and designed system packages to install enterprise software. From 2014 to 2019, Jeffery worked for Applied Computing Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Linux Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for server management related to Red Hat Linux operating systems in the FEMA Test and Development Lab, provided hardware support and troubleshooting, operated system security hardening and standardization of configuration, and provisioned and configured new servers. Since 2019, Jeffery has been working as a Sr Linux Automation Engineer for L2T, LLC and a Sr Security Systems Administrator for Leidos.

Jeffery Orndorff obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Randolph-Macon College in 1986. In 2015, they obtained a CompTIA Security+ certification. In 2011, they obtained an ITIL v3 Foundations certification. In 2001, they obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. In 1998, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification.
