Nicole Bazak, FSA, MAAA has a diverse work experience that spans several roles in the actuarial field. Nicole is currently the Director of Actuarial Services at L.A Care Health Plan since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the positions of Manager of Actuarial Services, Actuary I, Senior Actuarial Analyst, and Actuarial Analyst II at the same company from 2016 to 2022. Nicole began their career as an Actuarial Analyst I at L.A. Care Health Plan in January 2015.

In addition to their actuarial experience, Nicole worked as a Notetaker and Proctor at UC Santa Barbara Disabled Students Program from September 2012 to December 2014. Nicole also gained practical experience as an Actuarial Intern at L.A. Care Health Plan in June 2014.

Nicole Bazak, FSA, MAAA completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Actuarial Science from UC Santa Barbara from 2011 to 2014. Nicole also attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2013 and Shalhevet High School from 2007 to 2011. Nicole obtained their certifications as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries in 2020 and as an MAAA from the American Academy of Actuaries in 2017.
