Mark Palmer's work experience begins in 1995, when they started as a Graduate Trainee at United Biscuits. Mark eventually became a Group Brand Manager before leaving in 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they served as a Marketing Manager at Burger King.
In 2001, Palmer joined Green & Black's Chocolate Ltd as a Marketing Director and played a key role in the successful sale of the business to Cadbury PLC. Mark then transitioned to a part-time advisory Non-Executive Director role for Cadbury and later Mondelez from 2005 to 2011.
In 2007, Palmer founded Mark Palmer Marketing Consultancy and served as the Founder until 2012. That same year, they became the Marketing Director at Pret A Manger until 2016 and later served as a Board Advisor until 2018.
Starting in 2007, Palmer also became involved with Union Hand-Roasted Coffee as a consultant and Non-Executive Director. In 2016, they became the Chairman of the company.
In 2009, Palmer co-founded Cawston Press and served as a Co-Founder. In 2012, they co-founded LA Brewery Kombucha and took on the role of Co-Founder, leading the production of non-alcoholic fermented drinks.
Most recently, Palmer joined Kestrel Foods Ltd as a Non-Executive Director in 2019, after initially being involved in consultancy work for the company. Mark also joined Tisserand Aromatherapy as a Non-Executive Director in the same year.
Mark Palmer attended the University of Bath from 1991 to 1995, where they studied Business Administration with a focus on Management. In 2008, they received an Honorary MBA from the University of Wolverhampton Business School. The degree was awarded in the field of Business Administration and Management, General.
