Bohdan Nahaylo currently serves as the Chief Editor at the Kyiv Post since December 2021 and operates as a self-employed political analyst, journalist, writer, and former UN official. Nahaylo has extensive experience in international politics and humanitarian affairs, including roles as an Independent International Political and Humanitarian Affairs Specialist and International Project Advisor at Democracy Reporting International. Previous positions include Chief of the UN Department for Political Affairs Team in Ukraine and various senior roles at the UN and UNHCR across multiple countries. Nahaylo also has an academic background, having taught policy analysis at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Educational credentials include a Master's degree with distinction in European History from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor's degree in International History and Politics from the University of Leeds.
