Jay Rao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, trading, and compliance within the financial sector. As the Founder of KYC Hub since November 2018, Jay Rao has developed a suite of services that utilize AI and cloud solutions for real-time identity and business verification, aimed at mitigating fraud and financial crime risks. Prior to this, Jay Rao held various senior roles at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, including Programme Sponsor for Fixed Income Trading and Programme Manager for Credit Risk. Jay Rao has also contributed to Deutsche Bank, RBS, UBS, and Sungard Trading and Risk, focusing on regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and project management across multiple financial disciplines. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance, an MA in Economics, and a BSc in Mathematics.
