Norbert Kalmár has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Norbert is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at KX since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at MSCI Inc. from April 2022 to July 2022. Norbert also gained valuable experience at Cloudera as a Software Engineer from April 2018 to April 2022, where they contributed to the development of the company's Hadoop stack offering and also made contributions to open-source projects such as Apache ZooKeeper, HBase, and Accumulo. Before joining Cloudera, Norbert worked as a Software Developer at Morgan Stanley from April 2017 to April 2018 and at Lufthansa Systems from March 2013 to April 2017. Norbert started their career as a Developer at Pont System Group from September 2011 to February 2013 and also completed a trainee program at KBC Bank & Verzekering from June 2010 to August 2010.

Norbert Kalmár pursued their undergraduate education at Eötvös Loránd University from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Information Technology. Furthermore, they obtained the certification of "Master Cloud-Native Infrastructure with Kubernetes" from LinkedIn in June 2022.
