Max Tsuno has extensive experience in the software engineering and technology industry. Max started their career at TransAlta as a Translator/Interpreter in May 2012. Max then worked as a Sales Representative at Boutique of Leathers from June to August 2012. In 2013, Max joined the Queen's Space Engineering Team as the Electrical Team Manager from September 2013 to May 2014.

Max then transitioned into the capital markets industry, joining First Derivatives in October 2015. At First Derivatives, they worked as a kdb+ Developer / Data Scientist, where they developed data systems for various sectors including capital markets, utility, and manufacturing.

In the same year, Max also started working at KX as a Software Engineer, specializing in development with q/kdb+. Max was involved in the development of Kx For Sensors, a high-performance time-series database solution for sensor data. Max progressed in their role and became a Senior Software Engineer in March 2021. In April 2022, they took on the role of Solution Architect, Manager - Customer Success. Then, in May 2023, they transitioned to Solution Architect, Manager - Research & Development.

Max Tsuno holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Toronto from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at Queen's University from 2010 to 2014. Max Tsuno's education journey began in 2007 when they attended Strathcona Tweedsmuir School for their high school studies. However, no field of study is provided for their high school education. Additionally, in September 2021, Max Tsuno obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn.
