Richard E. Donaldson PE is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering with a specialized focus on critical facilities and HVAC design. As the Managing Principal at kW Mission Critical Engineering, a member of WSP, since March 2020, Richard leads complex mechanical design efforts for large-scale data centers. Prior to this role, Richard served as Associate Partner at Syska Hennessy from 2011 to March 2020, overseeing schematic design concepts and construction documentation. Richard's career also includes a tenure as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Morrison Hershfield, where Richard directed the Mission Critical Facilities Mechanical Department, and as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Johnson Spellman and Associates, managing projects from inception to commissioning. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
