Patrick Ettenhuber is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quantum innovation and bioinformatics. Currently serving as Quantum Innovation Manager and Software Architect at Kvantify since August 2022, responsibilities include product development in chemistry application software and quantum algorithm design. Prior to this role, Ettenhuber was a Senior Product Owner and Product Owner at QIAGEN from April 2016 to August 2022, focusing on software development processes and continuous learning in the field. Earlier expertise includes a position as Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, where Ettenhuber implemented algorithms for metagenomic NGS data analysis. Ettenhuber's academic background includes a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from Aarhus University, complemented by additional studies at the University of Bonn and the University of Tübingen, and a series of research roles at Aarhus University, including postdoctoral work and earlier PhD research centered on quantum chemistry algorithms.
