Jesper Nielsen has a diverse range of work experience in the field of architecture and design, starting in 1990 when they worked as an Architect at Foster and Partners. Jesper then worked as an Architect at various firms before becoming an Associate Professor at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in 2000. Nielsen later held positions as a Design Director at various companies including Art Andersen A/S and Kvadrat Soft Cells. Jesper also served as the Head of the Center for Industrialized Architecture from 2009 to 2011. Overall, Nielsen has over two decades of experience in the field and has held various leadership roles.
Jesper Nielsen completed their secondary education at Niels Steensens Gymnasium from 1976 to 1979, where they studied as a student. Following this, they pursued higher education at KADK - Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole from 1981 to 1988, acquiring a Master of Architecture (MAA) degree. Unfortunately, there is no specific information regarding the field of study for either of their educational experiences.
