Alex Hodschayan has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and design services. Alex started their career in 2012 with their own company, Alex Hodschayan Design Services, where they provided marketing consultancy and freelance design services for various clients. During this time, they offered a wide range of services including graphic design, brand identity, website design and development, content creation, SEO optimization, paid ads management, email marketing management, social media marketing, and custom consultations.
In 2015, Alex joined MRC / Merchant Risk Council as a Marketing Manager and played a significant role in redefining the company's brand through a complete brand overhaul, new website development, and comprehensive marketing strategy execution. Alex also managed internal and external communications, social media marketing efforts, web content management, and media relationships.
Continuing their journey, Alex worked as a Director of Digital Marketing at Privateer Holdings in 2017. In this role, they managed digital efforts for five different brands, including developing and executing marketing strategies, graphic design, content development, and lead generation.
Later in 2017, Alex took on the role of Director of Marketing at Ask a Lender, a startup where they successfully drove over 250,000 visitors to the website within six months and achieved monthly recurring revenues exceeding $50,000 with a limited marketing budget.
In the same year, Alex also served as the Director of Marketing at Scotsman Guide Media, where they positioned the brand for strategic messaging, led user-focused content creation, and managed all digital content production and advertising.
In 2019, Alex became the Chief Marketing Officer at Kush.com, where they were responsible for developing the branding, positioning, and growth strategy of the business and its user base.
Prior to their career in marketing, Alex worked as a Creative Director at East Central College and as a Director of Marketing & Events at Downtown Washington, Inc. In both roles, they contributed to the development of marketing materials, rebranding efforts, and saw significant increases in attendance and sponsorship revenue.

Alex Hodschayan received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Film, and English from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2005 to 2008.
