Mark Matty, CISSP has over 20 years of experience in the field of computer consulting, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure. Mark started their career in 1997 as a Consultant at Mark Matty & Associates, where they provided computer consulting services for individuals and small businesses. This included web development, computer and network repair, and upgrades.

In 2007, Mark joined the Kurt J. Lesker Company as a Cyber Security Engineer. Mark initially focused on the efficient running of the company's global network infrastructure, which included troubleshooting and monitoring on a daily basis for offices in the US, UK, and China. Mark was responsible for server maintenance, monitoring routers, switches, Cisco FirePower, Barracuda spam filters, and the corporate VPN. During the pandemic, they played a crucial role in quickly transitioning the company's VoIP and call center to remote operation.

Since 2010, Mark has also been a member of Uptown Rhythm & Brass, a local Pittsburgh rock group. Mark plays the trombone in a nine-member ensemble that strives to replicate the original recordings and achieve a unique blend of vocals, rhythm, and horns.

Mark Matty has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Math from the University of Pittsburgh. Mark also holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Phoenix.
