Chuck A. has extensive experience in manufacturing and supply chain management. Chuck began their career in 1995 at Intel as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they developed component packaging process and equipment. Chuck then became the Director of Quality/Reliability and Sustaining Engineering, and later the Director of Product Development, Manufacturing and Engineering. In 2012, Chuck joined Microsoft as the Director of New Product Introduction, first for Surface keyboards and then for HoloLens. Chuck was responsible for strategic sourcing of manufacturing process equipment and supply chain partners, as well as technical SOWs, DOE design, qualification, and factory characterization of critical to function manufacturing technologies and metrology. In 2017, Chuck A. moved to Compound Photonics as Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Business Development, where they developed manufacturing performance agreements for Silicon fab through final assembly and test. In 2021, they were appointed VP/GM Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Kura Technologies.
Chuck A. graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering. Chuck has also obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, one in Bill George on Self Awareness Authenticity and Leadership in April 2017 and the other in Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization in November 2016.
