Tomi Nissinen is an accomplished researcher with a robust background in software architecture and development, currently serving as an Early Stage Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland and a Researcher at Kuopio University Hospital, focusing on AI and medical imaging. Nissinen's prior experience includes a decade at Tieto, where responsibilities ranged from senior software architect to software developer in the energy domain, emphasizing architectural design, mentoring, and technical consultancy. Earlier roles included multimedia development and instruction in digital photography and video production at Done Information Oy and Municipality of Siilinjärvi, respectively.
