Javier Iglesias Borrell's work experience includes serving as CEO of Kumux, where they developed a light simulation tool that allowed lighting companies to create personalized scenes using LEDs. Javier also served as CEO of Enlighting Technologies. Prior to that, they founded BB-LIGHT and worked at Faro Group as a Purchase Manager and Product Manager in Guangzhou, China. Additionally, they had a brief role in business development at Roca Sanitario, S.A.

Javier Iglesias Borrell pursued their education in business and economics. Javier started their academic journey in 2004 at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Management, specializing in Economics, International Trade, and Law. Javier successfully completed this program in 2008. Later in 2009, Javier enrolled at the same university, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, which they completed in 2010.
