Mike Whittom's work experience includes a role as a Technical Lead, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Solutions Kumojin starting in July 2021. From January 2018 to April 2023, Mike served as the Chief Technology Officer at MyBuddiesTrip Inc. Mike also worked at Vooban as a Full Stack Developer from November 2016 to July 2021, with a previous role as an intern in the same company. Mike's earlier experiences include working as a Poseur d'éposy at Les Constructechs et Époxy 3D from May 2015 to November 2015, and as a Charpentier-Menuisier at Construction Candid Bertrand from August 2011 to May 2013. Mike also had a role as a Charpentier-Menuisier at Goutière L M Landry in 2012.

Mike Whittom attended Cegep de Ste-Foy from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a degree in Technicien en informatique. Their field of study was Technique de l'informatique. Prior to that, they attended Cegep de rimouski from 2009 to 2012, but did not obtain a degree. Their field of study at Cegep de rimouski was Technique génie mécanique.

In addition to their formal education, Mike Whittom also obtained a certification in Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School in August 2016.
