Gustav Olsson is an experienced professional in the field of cultural heritage and museum management. Since September 2017, Gustav has served as the Museichef for Kulturen i Lund, overseeing a cultural history museum that features a diverse range of permanent and temporary exhibitions. Prior to this role, Gustav worked at the Nordiska museet, Julita gård from October 2008 to September 2017, initially as Utvecklingschef and later as Avdelningschef, where responsibilities included leading the world's largest open-air museum and conducting comprehensive evaluations of its operations. Earlier experience includes serving as Lantbruksdirektör for the landsbygdsenheten at Länsstyrelsen i Södermanland from January 2002 to February 2009, managing the administration of EU agricultural policies and coordinating rural development initiatives. Educational qualifications include multiple Filosofie kandidat degrees in Nationalekonomi and Historia from Lund and Uppsala Universities, an Agronomexamen from SLU, and a Diplom in French from the Université de Franche-Comté, along with ongoing research studies in Agrarhistoria at SLU.
