Kristof Van Hertum is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in software design and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Design Engineer at Kulicke & Soffa since March 2022, Kristof has been with Promexx since May 2011 as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at Philips from February 2014 to February 2022, where responsibilities included leading software technical aspects for the Azurion platform and developing the Xray viewing application for surgeons. Kristof's career also spans roles at Mapscape B.V., Bosch Packaging Technology, Assembleon, and ASML, contributing to a variety of software projects, including navigation data visualization and remote control software. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering Electronics-ICT from HOGENT and a Bachelor’s degree in IT from Hogeschool PXL.
