Burkhard Zirkel is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and information systems management. Currently, Burkhard serves as the Head of IT Infrastructure Projects EMEA, Head of IT Germany, and Head of IT Road + Rail Logistics Central Europe at Kuehne + Nagel, a position held since August 2011. Prior to this, Burkhard held the role of Head of Information Systems at Almirall Hermal GmbH from November 2006 to August 2011, and served as IT Manager for ERP Applications at Coloplast GmbH from January 2002 to October 2006. Burkhard began career at Kuehne + Nagel in 2000 as Manager of Global IS Standards and worked as a Project Manager at Castrol from July 1990 to December 1999.
