Yomi Ismail has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In their most recent position at Nomba, Yomi serves as a Product Operations Associate, focusing on building and improving systems for issue resolution and feature development tracking. Prior to this, Yomi worked as a Customer Success Associate, ensuring a personalized customer experience and effective resolution process at Nomba.
Yomi's experience also includes working as a Customer Care Officer and Assistant ATM Custodian at Access Bank Plc, where they provided prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and resolved complaints. At Interswitch Group, Yomi served as a Financial Inclusion Partner, recruiting and training new agents and providing field support within an assigned territory.
Additionally, Yomi worked as a Direct Sales Executive at Sterling Bank Plc, where they identified new market opportunities and utilized their network for link selling. In a previous role as a Piling Engineer at China National Chemical Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd., Yomi ensured the efficiency and accuracy of foundation drilling processes.
Yomi also has experience in education, having worked as a Class Teacher and Mathematics Instructor at Graceskies College, where they tailored instruction to meet the needs of students and evaluated their progress. Lastly, Yomi served as a Mathematics Instructor during their time in the National Youth Service Corps.
Yomi Ismail has a strong background in Chemical Engineering. From 2008 to 2010, they attended Lagos State University of Science and Technology where they obtained a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Yomi then continued their education at the same university from 2011 to 2013, earning a Higher National Diploma in the same field of study.
In addition to their formal education, Yomi has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2014, they completed a training program in First Aid, Disaster Management Response, and Fire Fighting conducted by Redcross. In 2015, they acquired proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through a certification course offered by Wizer Advisory. Building on their financial skills, Yomi obtained a certification in Basic Banking Operations from FITC in 2018.
In recent years, Yomi has expanded their skill set further. In 2019, they completed a Customer Service Fundamentals certification program offered by Workforce Group. In 2020, they obtained certifications in AML/CFT/ABC Ethics Training from Access Bank Plc and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google.
