Daniel Baptista Dias has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Daniel is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Kubeshop, where they maintain the Tracetest.io open-source tool and contributes to its evolution in the field of Observability-driven testing.

Prior to that, Daniel worked at Wildlife Studios as a Senior Software Developer. Daniel was involved in the development of Game Services and Core Systems, focusing on game Remote Configuration, A/B testing, and player social features. Daniel also built an internal provisioning system that significantly reduced the time required for game teams to start a prototype.

Before Wildlife Studios, Daniel held a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Resultados Digitais for a brief period. Daniel then worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Aliança Hospitalar S.A., where they coordinated the development of a revenue cycle optimization system for hospitals.

Daniel's career also includes a role as a Senior Product Engineer at Sprinklr, where they contributed to the development of an omnichannel product that connected customers to companies through various social networks. Daniel was responsible for managing real-time notifications and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Prior to that, Daniel worked at MATERA MVAR as a Research & Development Analyst. Daniel played a key role in creating and implementing mathematical models for risk management software. Daniel also developed credit risk products and regulatory market risk products.

At Interfloat HZ CCTVM, Daniel served as a Development Analyst, responsible for developing and analyzing back-office and risk systems. Daniel also provided technical analysis and support to legacy systems.

Daniel began their career at BSI Tecnologia as a Programmer Analyst. Daniel initially worked as a programmer developing various areas of the CRM system for Telefônica. Later, they transitioned into the role of a software architect, improving the system architecture to support the changing IT landscape. Daniel was also involved in defining and revising the technical aspects of the system.

Lastly, Daniel started their professional journey at Brastel Co., Ltd, where they worked as a Programmer. Daniel worked on various projects, including the integration system with Caixa Econômica Federal bank, online credit card payment system integration, and POS terminal payment systems.

Daniel Baptista Dias began their education in 2004 at the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP, where they pursued a Technical degree in Informatics with an emphasis in Programming and Software Development. Daniel then went on to attend USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they continued their studies at USP and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science, which spanned from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctorate degree in Computer Science at USP, which started in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2024.
