Thomas Nguyen has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at WhiteHat Security. In 2017, they interned as a Software Engineer at Apple. Thomas then became an IoT Research Assistant at Santa Clara University from December 2016 to September 2017. Thomas also worked as a Civic Digital Fellow at the U.S. Census Bureau from June to August 2018. In 2019, they were a Mathematics and Statistics Student Trainee at the US Navy for two months. From August 2020 to August 2022, Thomas served as a DevSecOps Engineer in the US Navy. Currently, since September 2022, they are working as an Engineer at Kubecost.

Thomas Nguyen completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Santa Clara University from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University from 2018 to 2020.
