Callie Smith is a Customer Service & Project Manager at KSA Lighting and Controls. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Client Engagement Representative at MarketWare Health Solutions and as a Physician Relations Intern at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.
At MarketWare, Callie was responsible for managing new client onboarding and implementations, tracking and organizing all stages of implementation, ensuring clients had the ‘ideal experience,’ as part of MarketWare’s strategic plan. Callie also managed client expectations to ensure that the company was always exceeding them. Additionally, Callie contacted organizations prior to contract expiration for renewal and potential upgrades, interviewed potential candidates for open positions within Client Engagement, and managed accounts receivable. Lastly, they assisted in the creation of the rewards program.
During their time as a Physician Relations Intern at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, Callie scheduled lunches/meetings between the physician relations representatives, administration, and hospital physicians. Callie also attended lunches/meetings and acted as a liaison between the administrators and hospital physicians. In addition, they compiled and organized useful hospital information to be distributed to the physicians and hospital staff, updated physician information in the software database called Marketware, and worked on marketing materials such as flyers and newsletters to physicians.
Callie’s experience in customer service, project management, and physician relations makes their an asset to any company. Callie is a hard worker with a proven track record of success in their previous positions.
In order to become an organizational communication specialist, Callie Smith first obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational/corporate communication from Northern Illinois University. Callie then went on to obtain an Associates of Science in general studies from McHenry County College. Finally, they completed a course in business/corporate communications at Monmouth College.
