Adil Raza is a seasoned professional specializing in financial crimes risk management, currently serving as Managing Director at J.S. Held LLC since December 2022. Raza's expertise encompasses anti-money laundering (AML), global sanctions, regulatory compliance, and risk management, providing innovative solutions to clients in need of compliance support. Prior experience includes roles as the US BSA/AML Compliance Officer for Nexo and several leadership positions at BDO USA, LLP, along with significant tenure at NatWest Group, where Raza led the Financial Intelligence Unit. Legal experience includes assisting at The Special Court for Sierra Leone and a human rights internship with Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative.
