Robert Woods

Sr. Director, Cloud Technologies at Kroenke Sports & Entertainment

Robert Woods has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Robert started their career at Convergys, where they served as a Floor Leader and later as a Technical Team Lead. In these roles, they led teams and worked on projects related to AT&T DSL support, developing best practice documentation.

Following their time at Convergys, Woods joined Sprint in 2009. Robert initially worked as a Mobile BroadBand Team Lead, where they handled escalated technical issues and managed a team of 15 specialists. Later, they transitioned to the role of Technician III Solutions Engineering and Business Commercialization, where they acted as a liaison between business sales and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Sprint's wireless products.

Currently, Woods is working at Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. Robert started as a Microsoft Office 365 Administrator and then progressed to various roles within the Cloud Technologies department. In their most recent role as Sr. Director, they are responsible for managing cloud computing, technical architecture, information security, disaster recovery, compliance, network services, IT operations, vendor management, and cross-functional communications. Robert collaborates with the Business Leadership Team to ensure consistent service levels and drives IT policies, standards, and procedures.

Robert Woods pursued higher education at Rose State College from 2002 to 2004 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in November 2020
