Stig Bordvik has a diverse work experience. Stig started their career in 2003 as a Gardist in the Hans Majestet Kongens Garde, where they served as part of Their Majesty The King's Guard, protecting various important locations in Oslo, Norway. After completing their service in 2004, Stig moved on to work as a Financial Consultant at Bergen Capital Management AS from June 2014 to June 2015. Stig then joined Intrum Capital AS in October 2017 as an Analyst, where they worked until December 2022. Currently, Stig is an Investment Analyst at Kredinor AS starting from January 2023.

Stig Bordvik's education history includes a Master's Degree in Financial Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the same institution, graduating between 2011 and 2014. In 2013, they participated in an Exchange Semester at The University of Hong Kong, focusing on Finance. Additionally, in the same year, they attended a course on Options, Futures and Other Financial Derivatives at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Before their university studies, Stig attended Danielsen VGS and obtained a General Admission qualification from 2000 to 2003.
