Maria Hendrix has held various roles throughout their work experience. Maria began their career as an Executive Secretary of Branch Manager at Continental National Bank of Miami. Maria then worked as an Export Coordinator at Millennium Chemicals before joining LyondellBasell, where they served as a Customer Service Manager, overseeing an international customer service team. Maria then moved to Renessenz, LLC (formerly LyondellBasell) as a Sales Support to Commercial, providing technical support to sales personnel and managing customer inquiries. Maria later joined Arizona Chemical as a Customer Service Manager, leading a team and ensuring proper customer service and export processes. Currently, Maria is working at Kraton Corporation, where they have held the roles of Global Account Sales Manager, Sr Supply Chain Manager- NA, and Director, NA Regional Supply Chain. In their current position, Maria has global responsibility for sales and supply chain management.

Maria Hendrix has a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Maria also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Trevecca Nazarene University, which they earned from 1993 to 1997. In 2014, Maria obtained a Marketing Certification from the American Management Association. Additionally, they have obtained additional certifications in Leading Strategic Growth from Columbia Business School and Negotiations Skills from KARRASS Negotiating in 2022 and 2017, respectively.
