Laura Purchase, P.Eng, is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the engineering and offshore sectors, currently working at Kraken Robotics since December 2014. Laura's expertise includes the design, testing, and assembly of mechanical and hydraulic systems for acoustic imaging technologies at PanGeo Subsea, supported by proficiency in CAD modeling and technical documentation using Solidworks. In addition to engineering responsibilities, Laura has served as an offshore supervisor, managing equipment mobilization and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful operations. Laura's prior experience includes roles as a co-op student at PanGeo Subsea, INSPIRUS Group, Shell Canada, and ExxonMobil, where accomplishments included mechanical design, research, and drilling engineering. Laura earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University in 2014.
