Gianluca Tramontana is a Senior Software Engineer at KrakenFlex, part of the Octopus Energy Group, since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at DAZN Group from February 2022 to February 2023, and as a Senior Software Engineer at the UK Ministry of Defence between July 2021 and February 2022. Gianluca's career began at the BBC, where a progression from Junior Software Engineer to Software Engineer occurred from September 2016 to July 2021, with a notable promotion received two years early due to exceptional performance during the apprenticeship. Educationally, Gianluca obtained a degree in Design and Technology Solutions with a focus on Computer Science from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completing studies from 2016 to 2020.
