Pablo Fernández de Salas currently serves as Head of Trading Strategies & Modeling at Flower, where responsibilities include planning and managing technical team growth, cultivating a goal-oriented and collaborative team culture, and overseeing data science aspects of Trading. Previously, Pablo held the position of Lead Data Scientist, creating and optimizing bidding and pricing strategies for energy markets. Prior to Flower, Pablo's academic career included roles as a Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholm University, focusing on astrophysics and cosmology, as well as several research positions at esteemed institutions such as the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas and the University of Valencia. Pablo holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Valencia and has contributed to significant research in various aspects of particle physics and cosmology.
