Bev Barnhart currently serves on the Technical Advisory Committee at the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue since September 2023. Prior to this role, Bev Barnhart was faculty at the National Intelligence University from January 2016 to September 2021, focusing on teaching, curriculum review, and mentoring. From September 1989 to August 2021, Bev Barnhart held the position of Senior Program Manager for Science and Technology outreach at the Defense Department, with extensive experience in weapons of mass destruction, emerging technologies, and strategic planning. Additionally, Bev Barnhart served as a senior intelligence analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency during the same timeframe. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College, a Bachelor of Science with triple majors in Physics, Math, and Music from Heidelberg University, and a Master of Science in Earth and Atmospheric Science from Purdue University.
