Jaime Guardado is a Junior Frontend Developer at KQED, with experience in creating accessible client-facing applications. Previously, Jaime served as a Software Engineering Intern at KQED, where collaboration with a team of over ten developers led to the modernization of a legacy application using React and Redux. Furthermore, Jaime developed a prototype single-page application that integrated REST API endpoints and Redis for data storage. Prior roles include serving as a Community Technology Associate Intern at Dev/Mission, conducting digital literacy workshops, and providing tech support. Jaime's foundational skills were built through a pre-apprentice program encompassing IT fundamentals, IoT, and web development. Additional experience includes positions at VP San Francisco LLC and as an assistant on the SFA Team at State Farm Agent. Jaime is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Francisco State University, expected to graduate in 2024.
