Shane has been with KPFF since 2006. His experience includes new building design, retrofit and evaluations of existing and historic buildings, and means-and-methods engineering. He has been an active member of SEAOC throughout his career and has served as a Director of the San Diego Chapter. He is active in the community, promoting structural engineering through volunteering at local high schools. Shane has published several articles and won the ASCE Raymond C. Reese Research Award in 2001. Recently he has been focused on healthcare, hospitality, and the design of solar panel support structures.
