Joel Peterson, SHRM-SCP, is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in strategic HR initiatives and organizational operations. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Human Resources at KPF since January 2019, Joel also engages as a public speaker, delivering over two dozen presentations on essential topics including Diversity and Inclusion, Employment Branding, and Talent Management. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at Goshow Architects, where responsibilities spanned HR strategies, accounting, and IT, alongside previous positions in HR management and office operations within the firm. Joel's career began at KCTS Television as a Legal/HR Assistant, and educational credentials include a Master’s of Fine Arts in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of Washington.
