Meral YUCEL is an accomplished professional in architectural and building sciences with extensive experience in research and engineering. Currently serving as a LEED® Green Associate™ and Design Engineer at Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc. since April 2020, Meral YUCEL also holds a position as a Research Collaborator at KKE-Kyoto University, focusing on environmental response strategies through structural-mechanical optimization of wood. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate at Tokyo Institute of Technology, where research contributions improved urban weather models, supported by Japan's Ministry of Environment. Additionally, Meral YUCEL has conducted research at The University of Tokyo and Istanbul Technical University, and supervised construction projects as an Architect at ERKA Construction.
