Sami is a seasoned professional in public policy and corporate affairs, currently serving as a Senior Public Policy and External Affairs Specialist at Uber in Bangladesh since April 2023. Prior experience includes leading corporate affairs at ValueFirst Digital Media Pvt. Ltd. from April 2016 to March 2023, where responsibilities involved guiding cross-functional initiatives and addressing critical business issues. Sami has also held roles at airtel between February 2011 and March 2016, focusing on government relations and regulatory landscapes, and managing interconnection relations at Warid Telecom from September 2007 to January 2011. Early career began at bti and 4th HOUSE in client service and brand management. Sami holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Dhaka and a BBA in Marketing from American International University-Bangladesh.
