Maria Strakosha has four years of work experience. Maria began their career in 2012 as a Life Guard and Swim lesson Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Boston. In 2014, they moved to Salem Country Club as a Coach, Swim Lesson Coordinator, and Head Guard. In 2018, they joined Boston Children's Hospital as a Clinical Research Assistant II and completed a Summer Internship in the Immunology Department. Currently, they are a Senior Research Associate at Korro Bio, Inc.

Maria Strakosha attended Peabody Veterans Memorial High School from 2012 to 2016, and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Connecticut College in 2020.
