In this role, she has responsibility for talent strategy, initiatives, career development, administration, operations, compensation, employee relations, mobility and performance management.
Caroline also leads the organization's internal Talent Acquisition function providing pre-boarding, recruitment and onboarding strategy and delivery globally.
In addition, she leads the talent development organization for the firm from entry-level to manager including learning & training programs and the early career graduate StartUp, Talent Academy and campus recruitment efforts.
Caroline is also the global HR leader for the Company's RPO and Professional Search solution areas.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, she spent seven years in progressive Human Resources roles with another major executive search firm. In her last role with the firm, Ms. Werner was the Director of Global People Operations and served as the HR business partner to the global corporate and executive teams.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Werner held progressive roles in Compensation & Benefits at Essendant (formerly USSCO) and held a management role at the Hyatt McCormick Place in Chicago. She also completed Hyatt's Corporate Management Training Program.
She served on the Board of Directors for Next Theatre Company in Evanston, Illinois from 2012-2014. Ms. Werner currently serves on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of greater Chicago whose mission is to eliminate racism and empower women.
Ms. Werner received her Bachelor of arts degree in political science from Miami of Ohio University in Oxford, Ohio. In 2007 she received her Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and in 2009 received her Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation through the World at Work Human Resources Organization, where she is a member. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC).
