DJ Duarte is the Owner and Founder of Makoto Flow Ltd., a consulting firm focused on lean thinking and management practices, established in October 2016. DJ also serves as a Senior International Consultant at KORN CONSULT GROUP, supporting the industrialization of European automotive suppliers in Japan since May 2021. With prior experience as a Founding Partner at Makoto Investments Ltd., DJ contributed to various lean initiatives across Asia from July 2013 to August 2016. Additional roles include Lean Management Consultant at The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel and International Consultant at Philips Health Systems, Givaudan, and PACCAR, providing expertise in lean practices and team development. DJ holds an AS in Asian Studies and a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, along with additional leadership training from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Department of Defense.
